Fresh Expressions Gathering June 2019

On Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th June 2019 the next get together of the Fresh Expressions family will be taking place.

This gathering, to be held at the brilliant Hayes Centre in Swanick, will be the first since our changes in structure and since we said thanks for Phil Potter’s five years leading the community.

These gatherings are where then future dreams of the movement begin to hit the ground as we discuss big issues and share our practice from around the country.  Network animator Tim Lea shares:

God’s Spirit is on the move in a whole variety of new, exciting and different ways. We want to continue to join in with that movement as it evolves and changes.

The gathering is open to anyone who is interested in connecting and networking with fellow practitioners in fresh expressions of church and those who are involved in enabling and advocating for them. You might be leading a Messy Church, setting up a network of new Missional Communities, pioneering in whole new context, leading a project, trying to deliver the mixed economy across an area or embedding Fresh Expressions within a church organisation/denomination.  If any of those sound like you, why not come along?

Our theme will be Connecting: connecting with God, each other and across the FX movement.

The gathering begins at 12.30pm on Tuesday 18th and runs through to 2pm on Wednesday 19th June.  The event costs £105 plus a small booking fee. For any questions or for further details contact Suzie Wall at suzie.wall@freshexpressions.org.uk.

You can now book online through Eventbrite –

If you’re unable to make it we’ll be live tweeting through the Conference on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and also sharing stories from the gathering.  If you go to our social media now you’ll see we’ve begun to share questions we discussed at last March’s get together – you can also see videos and photos of what happened then on this website.

We look forward to seeing you.
