For Starters: Starting something new in a traditional church setting
09:30 to 14:00

This excellent day event is taking place in Peterborough and organised by the Anglican Diocese but is open to all.  Charlie Nobbs tells us “75% of ‘Fresh Expressions’ start in a traditional church (as opposed to completely new and unconnected to existing church). This event is for anyone thinking of starting something within a more traditional church setting to connect with people on the fringe.”

Topics include:

  • Using Social Media
  • Developing your existing contacts
  • Starting out – How to hear what God is saying
  • Starting out – A beginners guide
  • How to get the PCC / rest of church to understand
  • How to start Café Church
  • How to start Messy Church
  • Archdeacon Richard Ormston: Why I’m giving you 100% backing

The day runs from 9.30am to 2pm and is happening on Saturday 18 November.
