At Fresh Expressions we work within a specific Safeguarding policy which ensures the protection of children and vulnerable adults in all we do.

We are committed to caring and respectful pastoral care of all people, the safeguarding and protection of all children, young people and vulnerable adults.  We also look to support caring and safe communities in local areas.

Whilst we are not responsible for the individual Fresh Expressions of Church formed around the country we recommend each and every new project thinks seriously about safeguarding and either has their own policy or works underneath the policy and practice of a local church, a District or Diocese.

All children and vulnerable adults have the right to be protected from harm and to have their welfare promoted.  Anyone who works for any organisation or ministry that comes into contact with children and vulnerable adults has a responsibility to keep them safe and to promote their welfare.
