fx Gathering March 2023

29 March - 30 March

Theme

Leadership in the Liminal*

*Liminality (from the Latin word līmen, meaning “a threshold”) is the quality of ambiguity or disorientation in the space occupied between one thing and another

In a rapidly changing world, and in a church trying desperately to discover what the ‘new normal’ might be, the liminal experience is very real. Do our inherited models of leadership work in such a context? Is a new approach required?

fx is pleased to be hosting a hybrid gathering of congregation leaders, church planters and pioneers from across the missional landscape, and we’re delighted to be welcoming four high-quality contributors to guide us in our conversations.

This year we’re intorducing the opprtunity for organisations andindividuals to have a stand at the gathering.

More information

The cost for a marketplace stand is £50. Please note to have a stand at the gathering you will also need to purchase an onsite delegate place.

To register your place and stand please visit: https://fxmar23.eventbrite.co.uk

If you add the following code to the promo code box ,the option to add a marketplace stand will appear: MP2023

For your marketplace stand you will receive a trestle table and two chairs. We should be able to provide electricity for the stand if needed, but you will need to bring your own extension cables to run the power to your table from a wall socket. There will be adequate space for you to have roll up banners etc, around your table too.

You are welcome onsite from 10am on March 29th to set up your stand, and we ask that you do not pack your stand down until the event has finished on March 30th. A programme for the event can be found on the event app- a link for which you will receive in the run up to the event.

As we are a fully hybrid event, we would like to be able to share information about your organisation with our online delegates too. Please could you send an overview and photo for us to add to our event app, and also any websites/links/ways for those onsite to connect with you too. Please could you send this to us by February 27th. If you are selling any items onsite at a special price, we ask that you consider honouring this cost with those attending online where possible too.
