One of the four key activities of fx is to enable the resourcing of the movement, by providing and sustaining a framework that empowers practitioners and pioneers within the movement to co-create and resource one another.
FX Resourcing is a thriving and growing part of the movement. We are committed to listening, researching and exploring new and innovative ways to equip people like you to begin, develop and multiply new contextual worshipping communities. The best place to explore how fx resourcing can support you on your fx journey is by heading over to the FX RESOURCING website.
FX RESOURCING SHOP

You can purchase securely from our website using PayPal or card.
This is our free app that introduces you to the fresh expressions journey and enables you to take your first steps in 21st century discipleship. Godsend is available for download from the App Store and from Google Play, but also available in a web format.
For more than a decade the mission-shaped ministry course has been equipping people to start and develop fresh expressions of church. You can discover more about the ecumenical one-year course that almost 4,000 people have already benefited from by clicking on the link below. This is also where participants can access their course materials, and msm tutors can download teaching resources and Quick Look Guides for each session
If you or those around you are yet to be convinced that starting a fresh expression is the right thing to do you may want to think about mission shaped intro which is a short interactive and multimedia course with five or six sessions for a church or small group to work through. It looks at the significant changes in our society, and the ways that churches can respond and reconnect with the communities they are called to serve.
If you’ve started a Fresh Expression and are at the stage of the journey where ‘church’ is emerging you may want some creative ideas to inspire your times of worship together. We have a variety of ‘ingredients’, like confession, intercession and communion, grouped in categories, such as ‘teens’, ‘retired’ and ‘all ages together’
We’ve also compiled a varied list of resources from numerous sources and gathered them together in one place. These are produced by people we trust and have made an impact in the contexts they’ve been used in. That said, context is everything when it comes to fresh expressions, so please do discern whether these resources are right for the people and the places where you are.
Our pioneer development hub has gathered together a list of training providers if you are interested in deepening your understanding and practice Some of these will be appropriate for those exploring a call to ordained ministry as a pioneer, whilst others are relevant to the vast majority of pioneers who are ordinary Christians seeking to follow Jesus where life happens!
Over many years we’ve been able to gather a wealth of stories and articles about fresh expressions of church. A couple of years ago we decided to slim down our website so the information you need is easier to find, but we didn’t want to lose that treasure store of inspiration. We therefore created an archive of our old site that you can access below. his includes a series of posts with ‘how-to-do-it advice’ called ‘The Guide’.
