Fx Rural Conference May 2022

It’s only God who makes things grow…

“So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labour. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building”. (1 Corinthians 3 7-9, NIV)

Come and join us on the 10th-12th May at the Hayes Conference centre for our fx Rural Gathering!

BOOK YOUR PLACE TODAY!

Are you involved in pioneering, exploring doing church in a different way, leading a fresh expression of church? Are you in a rural context?

Then why not come and join us….. and as we journey together, share, worship, listen, speak, and eat, our prayer is that God will meet us where we are and we will encounter God in the midst of our lives.….and that as you leave you will do so with a sense of God can and God will….a sense of expectation, whether it be huge or as small as a mustard seed.. to be co-workers in the Kingdom.

As we gather from across our rural contexts, after having prayed and listened to one another and to God we have taken our theme from 1 Corinthians 3; in particular those words “..but only God, who makes things grow.”

We want to welcome you as you are,..

It might have been a brutal time for you, you might be weary, wondering what the future will hold, have maybe even lost all sense of hope and have deep questions about where God is…

You might have survived and perhaps even flourished in the past months….maybe you have seen God grow something new and exciting in your context, and you have reasons to celebrate…

And of course, you could be anywhere in between those two extremes from one moment to the next, even day to day….

As we draw together, we want to draw you to God, so you can rest, be still, recharge, lament, just be, ….

and as we journey together, share, worship, listen, speak, eat, our prayer is that God will meet us where are and we will encounter God in the midst of our lives,

….and that as you leave you will do so with a sense of God can and God will….a sense of expectation, whether it be huge or as small as a mustard seed.. to be co-workers in God’s service.

We look forward to meeting you!
