After several years of serving our community through the FX Godsend and FX Stories apps, it’s time to say goodbye to these resources. We’ve maintained these two apps for years, but after reviewing their usage, we’ve realised it’s no longer the best use of our resources. So, effective immediately, we will be shutting them down.
The Godsend app has been an invaluable toolkit for people starting and growing Fresh Expressions of church, offering creative animations, real-life stories, and practical guidance throughout the journey(Diocese of Bristol)(Multiply).
The FX Stories app was initially launched to help users share stories of how God was working through fresh expressions of church, providing a platform for communication within the movement. However, the app has not been updated in recent years, which is why the decision has been made to retire it.
What’s Next?
Although we’re saying farewell to the apps, we are excited about this next chapter and how our updated digital platforms will better serve you. We believe these changes will allow us to focus on what matters most: connecting, equipping, and resourcing the Fresh Expressions movement for even greater impact.

We’ve moved all the content from FX Godsend to a website: godsend.cloud. This site has been refreshed to ensure it continues to support you with the latest materials and tools, giving you everything you need in one convenient place. It includes links to the latest materials and the second edition of the book with plans for GodSend hubs down the pipeline.

You can still hear the freshest and most inspiring stories from across the movement via the Mission Shaped Podcast. This podcast offers an incredible platform to keep you connected with stories of pioneering mission, straight from those who are on the ground and making it happen. We also have an archive of older stories and profiles on this site.
